1. Data We Collect
- Account data: email address, hashed password, subscription tier
- Job-search data: keywords, locations, score thresholds you configure
- Application records: jobs applied to, ATS type, result status
- Session cookies: job-board cookies — including authentication/session cookies — you choose to sync via the browser extension, so the service can act in your authenticated sessions without storing your job-site passwords (stored encrypted at rest using AES-256)
- Resume / CV: uploaded by you, used only to auto-fill application forms
- Usage telemetry: request counts, error rates (no personally identifiable data)

3. Data Retention
- Account data: retained until account deletion + 30-day grace period
- Job records: 90 days after creation, then purged automatically
- Session cookies: 30-day TTL per cookie entry, refreshed on each sync
- Database backups: self-hosted PostgreSQL — daily disk snapshots and logical dumps, 14-day retention
4. Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)
You may request: data access, rectification, deletion (“right to be forgotten”), or export at any time via Settings → Account → Export My Data. We respond within 30 days.
5. Cookie Policy
The browser extension syncs job-board session cookies on your explicit request. These cookies are encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest (AES-256 Fernet). We do not use tracking cookies on this website beyond a session cookie for authentication.
6. Limited Use
We use your data only to provide the job-search and auto-application features you request. We do not sell or rent your data, use it for advertising, or share it with unrelated third parties (consistent with the Chrome Web Store Limited Use requirements and the equivalent Microsoft Edge and Mozilla policies). This policy covers both the website and the browser extension.
